Haoua Amadou is a visual and digital artist, educator, and the Founder, CEO, and Director of CollabCulture LLC, a Texas-based multimedia training and customization service. Based in Houston, Texas, Amadou specializes in bridging traditional and digital art practices through community-centered education and creative programming. She earned her BFA with a concentration in Photography from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette and holds an MFA in Studio Art with a focus on photography and digital media from the University of Houston.
A French citizen originally from Cameroon, Amadou has lived in the United States since 2009. Her artistic practice began in the darkroom, where she developed a deep appreciation for analog-digital hybrid techniques. In addition to photography and video, she works as a digital artist, creating detailed and realistic digital portraits that explore themes of identity, cultural memory, and personal storytelling.
Amadou’s work has been exhibited both nationally and internationally, including at Pulchri Studio in the Netherlands, Alliance Française de Singapour in Singapore, the Blaffer Art Museum, Hardy & Nance Studios, the University of New Orleans, The Engine Room in New Orleans, Fletcher Hall Gallery, and the Acadiana Center for the Arts in Lafayette, Louisiana.
Through CollabCulture LLC, she empowers students and emerging artists with the tools to explore multimedia storytelling, offering hands-on training in visual arts while building a collaborative, inclusive creative space.
